Used in the construction of tailored men's shirts since the late 1700s, cotton offers superior comfort, durability and versatility. Cotton is hyporallergenic meaning it is gentle on skin and is non-irritative while its moisture-wicking properties allows your skin to 'breathe' and keep its cool.

Construction

M.J. Bale shirts feature all the hallmarks of the great English shirtmaking heritage. Our Collection shirts have been constructed with single-needle stitched French seams, shaped side gussets, four-piece back split yoke, pleated cuffs, a long shirt tail, non-fused collar & cuff interlinings and constructed front placket. These details contribute to a superior fitting garment and more durable wear.
